North Adams Art Vending Machine

When the North Adams Art Vending Machine first opened 2 years ago, we were still in the midst of the pandemic so I offered handwoven rainbow masks.
After the masks sold out, I offered Remnants of a World Unraveling Travel Bottles.
After they sold out, I now offer Fiber Work Remnant "Paintings" sewn onto gorgeous upcycled Crane card stock and packaged in upcycled plastic sheeting. In person only.

Bondhu, New Ashford, MA

Farah Momen commissioned me to design linens for her newly opened and fabulous Bondhu. Farah and I both agree that the event of eating is not just about the food; it is about the experiences of sight, smell and taste. Because of that, I designed and wove tri-color napkins for her service and I'm proud to say that over a year later, she still sets her tables with them and they are holding up great. At Bondhu, patrons can find MKarlenArt cloth, clay and wall pieces. She's also been known to be there in person weaving! In person purchases only.

Harrisville Designs, Harrisville, NH

Could be one of my favorite places in the world, this 6th generation spinnery is still going strong. Knitters find heaven in the retail store and weavers find heaven upstairs in the weaving studio. I am very honored to be able to say that I am an instructor at Harrisville Designs. Check out their catalog to see all of the wonderful classes they offer.

Greylock Works North Adams, MA

I have moved my studio/shop to the once-weaving-mill and now gorgeous small works haven.
11-3pm Thurs. - Sunday
but I'm often in there weaving at all hours. So if you see a light on and a weaver working, that's me! Come on In! I'd be delighted to show you my current creations.
